Opening their office in Kyrenia in 2003, they soon realised that with a little

first step was to find great staff, and train them to be the best. Thanks to
the extensive training available from RE/MAX, Dengiz and Benan’s hand-picked,
multi-national and multi-lingual team were soon making waves in the market,
selling more property to more satisfied customers than anyone else on the
island. The next step was a clever marketing campaign, making sure that the
RE/MAX Golden name was instantly recognisable and therefore ensuring a healthy
flow of customers, from both local and international sources.
Before long, RE/MAX Golden was the golden child of both RE/MAX Turkey and
indeed the RE/MAX International Corporation, surpassing expectations and
smashing sales targets with a vengeance. Consistently winning awards for the
most sales in the RE/MAX Turkey franchise and indeed the international arena,
RE/MAX Golden had truly begun to make a name for themselves and, in line with

Cyprus. Its innovative search facility meant that potential clients could
search for their dream property, meeting their exact needs. In the unlikely
event that a suitable property could not be found, RE/MAX Golden’s team of
trained professionals would seek out appropriate properties which met the brief
of the client. The award winning website www.cyprus-northern-property.com went
from strength to strength and climbed its way up the search engine rankings to
become one of the most popular websites concerning North Cyprus Properties.
Once the Kyrenia market had been well and truly conquered, RE/MAX Golden began
to appeal to the local market as well as its long list of international
clients.
Next on the RE/MAX Golden to-do list was to provide a comprehensive rental
service, which was duly achieved. Tasting triumph once again, RE/MAX Golden
expanded once more, creating a subdivision dealing exclusively with land sales
all over North Cyprus. It’s early days yet, but with contacts all over the
world RE/MAX Golden are sure to excel in this field too!
The Platinum Best Estate Agent Award is the latest in a long line of awards,
plaques and achievements for RE/MAX Golden, and Dengiz and Benan are aware that
this is largely due to their amazing staff.
The RE/MAX Golden sales team consists of Nermin Olgunsoy, Eileen Pelin Polat,
Yenal Tüzün, Cüneyt Dölek, Ayse Goktaþ and Ayþeli Özdemir, each highly trained
and highly skilled with many years of experience between them. Cemay Ýmren
sources RE/MAX Golden’s properties and controls and continuously maintains both
the internal system and the internet updates. Ýlker Polat holds his position as
head of the rental department and is also the resident land expert, meaning he
is often one of the busiest people in the office, and the capable office
manager Muzeyyen Altinay is the first friendly face one sees on entering the
RE/MAX office, and keeps the office running smoothly.
Owner/Broker Dengiz Kursat has a wealth of knowledge and experience in real
estate behind him and is also the Vice Chairman of the Turkish Cypriot
Businessmen’s Association as well as being a board member of the Estates Agents
Union. Benan Kursat is RE/MAX Golden’s highly competent sales manager as well
as sharing Owner/Broker duties with her brother, and is always available when
her staff needs anything, professional or personal. It was initially her hard
